As Solomon once wrote, “Iron sharpens iron,” and that’s what pumping iron is all about. As I move into my sixties, it’s not so much about mass and bulk anymore. It’s about functional strength and cardiovascular fitness.
Meet my role model. His name is Keith and he’s 78 – right where I wanna be in two decades. Right? Let the pictures speak for themselves.


I ask Keith what his secret was. He smiled and offered this. “Fitness is a lifestyle choice. It’s a lifelong venture to be healthy.”
