That’s what addicts and alcoholics must come to understand. All the data points to the progress that can be made when someone accepts responsibility for the situation they find themselves in. This same rationale applies to those who want to improve their health and achieve their fitness goals, especially as they age. You must accept responsibility and not assume that pharmaceuticals and medical care will be there to provide the quality of life you hope you’ll have in the twilight of your life.
So, what do you say? Will you stand with me and take charge of your health by doing something about it. Get yourself off the couch, get outdoors, get to the gym, find a pool, go for a walk or join a friend on a bike ride. Your life depends on it.
Today was swim day!!! 58 laps in a 25m pool, 10 mins on the bike, 4 mins in elliptical and dumbbell farmers carry around the gym twice.
