Adapt and Overcome

You can always tell who the conscientious gym-goers are. They have a plan but it’s not set in stone causing them to become impatient or irritable. As was the case for me today, if someone’s using the lat pull down station you need a backup exercise or the ability to switch up your routine. For me, it was a simple change from lat pull down to bent over barbell rows.

Today was tough. I didn’t get the sleep I needed or wanted and I was tired. Still worn out from Monday. Sixty don’t recover like thirty, that’s for sure. But, things loosened up and I gave it a good go. Back and bi’s – git sum!!!

  • Circuit 1 (3 sets) – Bent over barbell rows, single dumbbell rows, bent over reverse flies, planks.
  • Circuit 2 (3 sets) – Lat pull downs, dumbbell deadlifts, crunches.
  • Circuit 3 (3 sets) – Curl bar curls, crossbody dumbbell curls, hanging knee raises.
  • Circuit 4 (3 sets) – Seated incline curls, hammer curls, bicycle crunches.

All in all, felt like a million bucks.
