It’s Sunday afternoon, Xander Schauffele won the PGA tournament and I’m finding myself thinking about the coming week. Only four days and maybe less, depending on how things go. I want to maintain what I’ve been doing but the latest buzzword is functionality. Getting the most functional benefit from your workout, as possible.
Here’s the plan:
- Monday – chest and tri’s with a new cardio twist: 3 sets of jumping jacks, squats and burpees.
- Tuesday – swim (68 laps), bike, row.
- Wednesday – back and bi’s with a yet-to-be-determined functional cardio routine.
- Thursday – swim, bike, elliptical.
