New Week, but Short

It’s Sunday afternoon, Xander Schauffele won the PGA tournament and I’m finding myself thinking about the coming week. Only four days and maybe less, depending on how things go. I want to maintain what I’ve been doing but the latest buzzword is functionality. Getting the most functional benefit from your workout, as possible.

Here’s the plan:

  • Monday – chest and tri’s with a new cardio twist: 3 sets of jumping jacks, squats and burpees.
  • Tuesday – swim (68 laps), bike, row.
  • Wednesday – back and bi’s with a yet-to-be-determined functional cardio routine.
  • Thursday – swim, bike, elliptical.
