What a great week! Short. But, exactly what this old bod needed to get back into the swing of things. Sore? Yep, but the kind of sore that every gym rat loves. And, I stuck to the plan.

  • Wednesday – swim 58 laps, bike 12 mins, elliptical 6 mins and rowing machine 4 mins.
  • Thursday – Circuit 1: bench, Arnold press w/ dbs, deadlifts, Russian twists 16lb ball – 3 sets. Circuit 2: wide lat pull downs, ez bar curls, skull crushers, 90 sec planks – 3 sets. Circuit 3: seated leg press, box step ups, crunches – 2 sets.
  • Friday – swim 58 laps, bike 15 mins, elliptical 8 mins, kettle bell swings and one are farmers carry twice around d the gym.

Missed my 78 year young fellow gym rat. He had his hip replaced and within 3 days was up and about with a cane. Wonder how quickly my mentor will be back doing this? My bet? As soon as the doc lets him. He’s a savage.
